Our first recipients

We heard from our nonprofit partner, College AIM, about the first recipients of $100 grocery store gift cards from the Invisible Food Pantry. I imagined our first recipients as high school students who would pass the gift cards along to their parent or guardian. Instead, when College AIM determined the students most in need, they turned out to be college students. They are all three women, and all three are experiencing housing and food insecurity. One is pregnant. All were appreciative for the temporary alleviation of stress the gift card provided.
